Han Chung Eun is a renowned Korean flutist and master of the daegeum and sogeum flutes.

Han Chung Eun will introduce Korean Bamboo Flutes, Daeguem & Soguem with short history and fun stories, followed by demonstration of traditional tunes.  

Program then will explore his dynamic range including the titular piece “The Starlight Forest,” a contemporary reinterpretation of Yeomin Rak, song of unification compiled by Sejong the Great during the 15th century. Joining him on stage are Ruvin (guitar), Sungyong Hwang (percussion), and Yoonah Oh (piano). Co-sponsored by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
